DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM

FINT2025 – DOCTORAL AND EARLY CAREER COLLOQUIUM

PhD students, researchers, and lecturers at the beginning of their careers are warmly invited to attend and present their research at the FINT Colloquium 2025. The Colloquium will be held on 18th June 2025, the day before the main program of the FINT Conference and will focus on offering early-career researchers support for the development and useful guidance for conducting their future research to ensure its high quality.

The colloquium will include a 2-hour roundtable discussion where participants will have the opportunity to present and receive detailed feedback on the development of their research from trust expert members of the FINT community. This will be followed by interactive panel discussions designed to offer tips on how to approach academic life and the publication process.

The colloquium offers a unique opportunity to network with other early-career scholars, as well as established trust scholars, and to reflect on one's academic career in a supportive and developmental environment.

Participants are strongly encouraged to submit a research paper to the interview. The deadline for submission is 15th October 2024 via the submission portal. Papers will be reviewed by leading trustee scholars before presentation at the conference and participants will have the opportunity to incorporate this feedback before presentation.

Papers may contain a maximum of 3000 words (including title, abstract, figures/tables, etc.), excluding references. Papers must be submitted in Word or PDF with double spacing, Times New Roman 12pt font, numbered pages, and APA style citations. The paper must clearly explain the relevance of the chosen topic, the research question, the theoretical background, and the research contribution. Empirical articles should provide an overview of the methodology, analysis, and main results.
